Benjamin is one of only a handful of American actors ever to have worked with Chinese film auteur Wong Kar Wai, alongside Rachel Weisz, Jude Law and David Strathairn – in the film My Blueberry Nights. Other exciting roles includes the multi award-winning Birdman, in which Benjamin appears as the title-role superhero alter-ego personification of Michael Keaton‘s lead character, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu. The much anticipated The Visit directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Also Broken City, which was Benjamin’s forth time working with the very talented (and very cool) Mark Wahlberg.
A huge fan of the horror genre, other acting credits include: Bacterium, Penny Dreadful Picture Show, Piranha Sharks (which Benjamin also co-produced and was 2nd Unit Director) and Scary Tales II. Television credits include Do No Harm on NBC, the Pilot episode of STBY (scenes from both are available on the REELS page) work with Comedy Central on the shows Michael & Michael Have Issues and Big Lake. As well as Celebrity Apprentice, season 11, episode 4, and numerous commercials.
Stage performances include work at The Wilma, Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Workshop, Michael Chekhov Theatre Co in NYC, and Downstairs Cabaret Theater (DCT) in Rochester, NY where Benjamin originated the role of Danny Blue in the wonderfully written Ava by playwright Bonnie Corso.
